Hi, I’m Tim and here is a little about me.
I’ve been tuning Subarus for over 12 years owning 5 different models to date ranging from stock-ish to 750BHP , having tuned more than 1200 vehicles throughout my career. My passion for performance and precision started at a young age with racing, where I learned the importance of fine-tuning every detail for maximum efficiency and power.
My background in aviation engineering brings a level of precision and attention to detail that ensures every turbo and tune is completed for optimal performance, durability, and reliability. Things have been busy.
Had several cars on the Dyno with some additional remote tunes
Harry’s white blob Sti Being the strongest with just shy of 550bhp on meth and 490 on pump 99 unfortunately running out of fuel injector and wastegate spring.
Oem Ecu full flex fuel on 25% meth 1.7 bar tapering to 1.5, pulsar gtx3076 rotate turbo
Shout out to TFS Racing for picking up the pieces and completing the project.
Bretts blue wagon Wrx has one of our TBTC420 models Stock unknown ej205 made mapping interesting,made just north of 370bhp at 1.3 bar unfortunately coil pack issues ended the Dyno session short.
Blob Sti in with a front mount and twin scroll vf37
Made a respectable 360bhp( unfortunately no pictures of car or graph)
Tim’s Foz rally car running my 420 model turbo
Tuned conservatively on e50 running oem top mount making 400bhp
Mikes blob wagon (silver) has been remote tuned featuring an ej207 conversion running our tbtc420 models in twin scroll configuration, maxing the 550cc injectors at 397bhp at 1.3 bar The addition of 1050x injectors next week and 1.6 bar will net another 30-40bhp.
8 cars over the last 2 Mondays on the Dyno with another 5 remotely mixed with our shop car the hatch Sti nearing completion with a new test turbo. #tunedbytimcox #surreyrollingroad

Recently I had the pleasure of working on Josh Blass's Blob STI
This is one clean example with what I feel to be the perfect mods list for a fast street/track car.
Josh and I had been speaking for a while about the ability to run flex fuel on the stock ECU, many have said its not possible, but having done this before I was happy to wire it up and get to tuning.
Using an Innovate Motorsports 4 in 1 gauge with the 0-5v output this is made very easy. I personally only run the innovate gauges and recommend them to all customers as they are consistent and just work.
This car had already been setup to run speed density via the CarBerry rom patch but had no dedicated IAT sensor after the turbo, although this is not ideal it does work. being a 1 piece long runner JDM manifold I did not want to drill a new port in the intake or Process West intercooler. With this I set to wire in the OEM intercooler auto wash temp sensor that sits bellow the throttle body thus retaining 100% OEM wiring in engine bay with de pinning at ECU.
The car already made great power but the constant hassle of getting those perfect mixtures was always a pain for josh.

How do you find the process west Top mount at this power level
That's what I wanted to run as well on OEM ECU flex fuel sensor,I assume you have used rear lambda and we have too 4-1 Innovative ECF-1 and literally after asking everyone we went with Syvecs S6 again Innovative gauges or their 4-1 are best and they work quite well Nice power with methanol on GTX2971,it's one of yours Twin entry turbos?

Nick and I have been speaking a while about getting this stock ej257 safely running over 400bhp.
Supporting some of the best supporting mods and our in house TBTC420 turbo
Keeping it very conservative at 1.3 bar and very tame timing we made 410bhp and 390ftlbs. 2.5 inch mid pipe
Making peak torque at the same rpm as the OEM vf43 but with 100bhp more,this is the ultimate street turbo.

Sam Weedon hawk wrx in for one of our TBTC420 turbos and a few other parts. Keeping it very safe as still a 5 speed gearbox.
1.4 bar made 410bhp and full boost in 3rd at 3300rpm.
Still retaining the stock air box and turbo inlet there is lots left in the tank.

Matt Taylor's pristine legacy got one of our hybrid VF turbos, this is not like the normal tbtc380 or 420 model but based on the smaller vf45 twin scroll. Featuring a custom 9 blade turbine wheel and larger billet compressor wheel.
I helped Matt install and then set up a base map.
Unfortunately we hit the fuel pump and injector limits at only wastegate pressure which is 1 bar but still made a comfortable 285whp 342bhp 212wkw.
